Website Design/Development Intern
Are you open to learn new programming languages/frameworks? Are you very eager to horn your website design and development skills? Do you have the passion for creating and managing web sites?

We are actively looking for energetic people who are willing to devote sometime to help us with our web site.
Requirements
- Experience in at least one programming language (PHP preferred)
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JQuery, WordPress
- Experience with editing images using one of the image editing softwares (GIMP, Adobe Photoshop etc.,)
Accounting Intern
We are looking for a volunteer to work with us on accounting task among others. The initial work involves doing research and communicating with people to get information on certain tasks, evaluating accounting software, developing guidelines for good practices, record maintenance and verification.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge in using excel
- Basic knowledge of task maintenance
- Basic accounting skill
- Experience with any accounting software (like Quick books)
- Good communication skill
- Initially 2 hours/week @ a member’s residence
- Remote working may be considered after sometime
- Long term volunteering
Content creator Intern
We are looking for a volunteer with English language major to help improve our communication to the external world. The immediate task would be converting some of our innovative ideas into appropriate messages in our website, Grant proposal among others. Also, we want the person to look at our existing website and help reword some of the key page contents like mission statement, community service, and animal care in a better way. It can be better if the person can represent the idea in a visual way.
Requirements
- Excellent written communication in English
- Working knowledge in using Microsoft Word
- Good communication skill
- Long term volunteering is preferred
- Animation and drawing skills are a plus
- Familiarity with animation software is an added advantage
- Ability to articulate ideas to a visual representation
Note: If interested in learning breathing, meditation or grounding, we can provide those classes as compensation for your work. But if you want monetary compensation, we can work that out as well.
