Thirukural is a classic of 1330 rhyming couplets or aphorisms composed by the sage poet Thiruvalluvar. “Thiru” in Tamil language means “Sacred or Divine” and “Kural” refers to “verse”. Thirukural epitomes the “Divine Truth”, words that never fail, relevant and applicable for human race at all times. The Thirukural expounds on all aspects of life and the verses are structured under three categories – Virtues, Wealth, Love.
