Almond Cream with Strawberries << Back to Sattwic Foods

2 tbsp. Sugar
1/4 tsp. Almond extract
1/4 cup Slivered almonds
2 cups Strawberries
1 cup part-skim Ricotta cheese


Place a pan in medium heat, and toast almonds by stirring continuously. Transfer it to a plate or cup for cooling. Slice the strawberries. In a bowl combine ricotta cheese and sugar along with almond extract until the mixture becomes smooth. Take 4 dessert plates and place this mixture equally in them. Sprinkle some strawberries and garnish the dessert with toasted almonds.

Serves 4
