Darshan2Divinity (D2D) – About Us

Darshan2Divinity (D2D) is a California non-profit religious corporation with 501 (c)(3) tax exempt status. D2D was founded by Sri Vijayavasanthan Gurusamy under the guidance of Lord Ganesha, Lord Muruga and Lord Krishna in the year 2010.  He is a spiritual guru, an author, a gifted singer, a project manager who inspires and uplifts people around him. His unique way of teaching has transformed and touched many hearts. His Divine nature has attracted people as members for this organization from all walks of life. The Essence of Bhagavad Gita, a book authored by Sri Vijayavasanthan Gurusamy is unique in many aspects which can be really appreciated when one goes through the learning process.  D2D provides a platform for everyone to practically incorporate spirituality in their life.  We offer various breathing, meditation, grounding, healing and knowledge courses with the foundation being Bhagavad Gita. Also provided are various activities based on Bhagavad Gita knowledge.

Darshan2Divinity (D2D) is a spiritual organization which provides individuals the spiritual knowledge and practical experience to promote simple living, bring communal harmony and encourage social responsibility. The organization uses the teachings of Bhagavad Gita, Thirukural and other great spiritual knowledge from throughout the world to uplift oneself as well as the society. The organization teaches the way of simple living through various activities like singing/bhajans, volunteering/services to the society, nature/animal protection, alms giving, potluck etc. Through meditation, breathing, grounding, healing and yoga practices, the organization helps the individual to identify their purpose of life.

Our organization is mostly based on the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita. The Bhagavad Gita is a 700-verse Hindu scripture that is a part of the Hindu epic Mahabharata. It is an ancient and hugely influential Indian religious text that describes three different paths to self-realization. The Bhagavad Gita provides instructions that guide Hindus in the practice of their faith. The activities we perform are an expression of practicing the teachings. In many ways the Bhagavad Gita for Hindus is like how the Bible is for Christians and our organization operates effectively as a Hindu “church” or temple.

Thirukural a 2500 year old ancient Tamil literature is also used by Darshan2Divinity to promote human values. Thirukural is common to all religions and talks about lifestyle, discipline, eternal peace, harmony, health, wealth, power, grace and bliss. It contains treasures that lead to peace and harmony at home as well as the country. Hence it is known as world renowned knowledge. Thirukural has been translated to more than 35 languages across the world by various authors.
