Resource Area for Teaching (RAFT) is an organization that prepare kits to the kids at schools. These kits are up for sale. The volunteering here is to help RAFT prepare those kits.

In this volunteering event, we helped RAFT create several packs of gold and silver sheets which can be used by teachers in their art projects.

Salvation Army is a church and an international charitable organization striving to serve the people in need. They provide services like Family Support, supporting homeless people, Youth and senior services. [1]

D2D focuses on serving food to the needy. We volunteer at the Salvation Army – Emmanuel house services where they provide food for the homeless people every weekend. As volunteers we cooked food and served approximately 200 people. The volunteering event was on Saturday 19th Sep, 2014 from 2PM to 6PM.

This Volunteer event is to help Darshan2Divinity (D2D) organization with any help the organization needs. There are various activities that require help with D2D. In this event, we helped the D2D Not-for-profit Organization team with its tasks. Check below the photos from the volunteer event and the participants comments.

This activity is related to packing the medical supplies to the needy. MedShare collects the unused but yet new medical equipments from various hospitals across Bay area. As volunteers we will help MedShare categorize, label and pack these medical supplies. These supplies will be sent to any country that is in need of medical supplies. MedShare also sends various big medical equipments as well to the hospitals across the globe.

Our May month volunteer activity was at Full Circle Farm on May 17, 2015. This activity in related to organic farming as well. We are volunteering here to collect the vegetables that were grown by this farm, prepare the compost and beds for the plants.
