    Dear Friends,

Thank you all for making this volunteer work a memorable one and thank you Nithya for joining us. I thoroughly enjoyed working with nature this time too. The garden was smaller in size but we got to harvest so much veggies. This reminds me of a saying, never judge a book by its cover. Looking at all the veggies and knowing that it is going to help feed so many people was a satisfying moment. This is my first time organizing the event and with Sanjai’s help it was easy to step into the new role. Thank you Guruji for giving me this opportunity and thank you all again.

    Dear Priya,

Thank you very much for the opportunity to volunteer at Almost Eden. It was great to work outside in the morning sun. Though the work could be categorized as maintenance, it was very rewarding. There was never a dull time. We went slow and steady and had lots of fun doing it. Farming is a real hard work and without proper maintenance it is not possible to harvest food. Doing my part I also realized that our mind is similar to farm. Without proper maintenance we cannot harvest knowledge and peace. Bad thoughts need to be constantly uprooted like the weed and positive and selfless thoughts have to be cultivated like the diff. Plants. With constant care they will harvest into food for our soul.

    Happy farming!

Thank you so much Priya for the Volunteer activity. I too was surprised the amount of vegetables this small form had. It was very nice to be part of a noble cause always. Thank you for bringing the snacks as they were very helpful and came handy when in need.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this event.
