Volunteering at Sacred Heart Community Service
Sacred Heart Community Service [SHCS] is a non profit organization which is dedicated to bringing our community together to address poverty in Silicon Valley. Through a comprehensive array of resources, services, and community involvement initiatives, SHCS is making a real impact in the lives of working poor families. [1]
Service is an important aspect of D2D. We volunteer at Sacred Heart Community Service in our effort to serve the needy. For this volunteering, we collect donations from people and sort them accordingly.

It’s in giving that we receive. Giving in whatever way we can to the community and others is a great deed. Able to find peace when doing so and complete satisfaction. Lets continue to do this.

This is the second time i am going here for volunteer work, we sorted clothes this time. While sorting we found that women have lot of options on clothes than men’s… :). That 3 hours’ time was productive and good feeling that we are able to help others..
