Volunteering at MedShare – Nov 11th, 2017
MedShare collects the unused but yet new medical equipment from various hospitals across Bay area. These supplies will be sent to any country that is in need of medical supplies. MedShare also sends various big medical equipment to the hospitals across the globe. As volunteers we will help MedShare categorize, label and pack these medical supplies.

I really loved the volunteer activity today. My 3 hours for the first time was well spent. I enjoyed the activity. One thing I liked most was getting to work with people in groups and the thought that we are helping people across the world. I would definitely volunteer again. It was very motivating and happy working with such warm & kind people.

The volunteer activity was fantastic. Really useful and glad we were able to serve the community. I was not aware that so many medical equipment are being discarded as waste. It is wonderful to see how these equipment are being sorted and made available to the needy. I learnt a lot more new equipment that I was not aware about. You have done an awesome job and so very well coordinated. I would be happy to be of help in my capacity. I would love to see this expand and spread more awareness to people.

I had a great volunteering experience. It was good to see so many people willing to spend their weekend to help others. We sorted medical equipment and was amazed to see so much of these being discarded by hospitals. It was nice to see new volunteers work with enthusiasm and dedication. Thank you volunteers for taking time from your personal life to serve others.
