Volunteering @ SHFB – Feb 24th, 2018

Second Harvest Food Bank is a trusted leader dedicated to ending local hunger in many counties across United States. They distribute nutritious food to low income people in need through direct service programs and by collaborating with other non-profit agencies. In this event we sort packed food items.

    I felt very happy in today’s volunteering work. I enjoyed a lot with all. The one thing I liked the most in today’s experience was sorting the vegetables. Overall I had a good experience.

    Volunteer experience today was too good. I enjoyed a lot. We sorted and packed around 18,000 pounds of grapefruit. I would like to participate again.

    Today’s experience was very satisfying. Had fun packing food and hope it reaches the family who needs it. I loved how people of all culture worked in harmony and came as one to help out.
